Same here, both the book and the movie managed to be moving in a way that I rarely experience.

Never seen it, but there are a bunch of comments on the Youtube video for Teenage Riot by The Sonic Youth saying that it was in the soundtrack of the movie. In my mind, any movie with The Sonic Youth is worth watching - I'll be torrenting it now.

I feel like such an anomaly when it comes to the movie, (haven't read the book) I didn't love the movie, but it was okay. Two girls in my class were freaking out about how good it was, but after seeing it I didn't really understand it.
