Would it cause problems for my story if I posted a passage from the beginning on here? I am submitting it for a contest on Writer's Digest. I don't know if it's a good idea to submit it on here. It might be marked for plagiarizing if I submit it earlier than when I submit it or something like that. What do you guys think?
Well, it definitely wouldn't hurt to post some or all of it until after the contest... It's better to be safe, just in case.
I can't wait to get feedback from fellow writers! This is making me so excited. Just want to drop school and write. ---------- Post added 11th Apr 2013 at 12:37 AM ---------- Hidden blogs? You mean like word-press or something?
Hahaha I know that feeling of wanting to skip school to write!! I wrote in several of my classes. I think there is a setting that keeps your blog on here only visible to other members. I know there is a box you check where only your EC friends/contacts get to read your blog.
I've already posted it on my blog. So, just click on the number 1 under my profile thing to the left <- :icon_bigg Tell me what you think okay?
Hey, do you want feedback? I do a lot of editing on the side (critique groups, friends) and if you ever need some honest, reader feedback, just hit me up.
-swoons- YOU WOUL-- I mean, ahem. You would? We all have our things to do. I'd rather not push it on someone I don't know. All I have posted at the moment is a passage from a later chapter (in my blog). I don't feel confident about the whole thing so I don't know exactly how I'll get it to you if you decide that you really want to. Again. You don't have to say 'YES. I MUST'. You can decline and please consider all the other important things you have going on. I don't want to cause problems for you
It's honestly no problem. Something I like to do, don't mind doing. Always like helping a fellow writer out. I've got plenty of time on my hands, actually kind of need something to get my mind off gender confusion issues/etc.
