Feel free to add more. I'm actually looking for more to listen to (apart from these two anime's OSTs of course).

This was my favourite piece of music from all 5 seasons of BSG, its one of those pieces that just throws so many feels at you through its run.

Can't go wrong with most FF soundtracks.

And Yoko Kanno, who composed many of the soundtracks for Cowboy Bebop and Wolf's Rain.

Thanks guys, I've listened to them all and I especially love the Tsubasa Chronicles ones. The songs by Yoko Kanno are amazing too!

I forgot to mention I'm a huge FF music fan so I've already heard all of the songs. xD

Don't know if this is what you're looking for, But October by Eric Whitacre is a good calming song.

Chopin's Nocturnes or Mozart's Requiem would be my suggestions off the top of my head.

I am totally a sucker for that kind of music!

Do you listen to John Denver? You might like his songs.. Annie's Song, Country Roads, Leaving on a Jetplane.. The instrumental versions of these are also available

Try anything by Mogwai, Explosions in the Sky, or really any other instrumental post-rock band.

If you want something really sad and beautiful, Chopin's 12 etudes, Opus 10: No.3 "tristesse" is gorgeous
