I personally have been using Pandora as it has introduced me to underrated/hidden new songs, but I heard Spotify is better because you can make your own playlist. Any of you use either one of them?

I tried out Pandora for sometime, but it would always give me some random songs which I never really cared for. I do agree with you about Spotify, since I can listen to the music that I want to listen to.

I second Grooveshark as a playlist - I haven't purchased music in years because of that.

I still use Pandora if I want to hear a variety and possibly get introduced to new music. Though, yesterday I was using it in the car because the morning shows were on. I think there was an advertisement after every two songs, which was ridiculous.

Spotify is the better of the two if you ask me, but neither can beat the good old torrents.

I used Pandora for a long time. Tried Spotify, but didn't really care for it. Now I use iHeartRadio.

I tend to discover new music on Spotify.
But I tend to use Pandora if I want to listen to a certain station... say, 90s hits.
So it depends. I like both

I have a hard time either finding the torrents I want or finding seeders.

I borrow albums from the library and copy them to my computer. I am a huge fan of Spotify though; once they release an Ubuntu version of their software, I'll subscribe to their Premium service.

  11. ...I generally use slacker if I'm listening to music online.
    but pandora is okay too.

i just don't have the patience to really go through and perfect a station.

I actually have satelite radio with Serius XM. So I'm going to say neither... And when I want to listen to music while on the road or the bus, I have my trusty piratebay to get music on my ipod.

  14. I use Spotify all the time. I like that it has a list of recent top music, you can make playlists, all your music on your computer can be played on it, you can search up an artist and it will show related artists as well. I like it better than any other music site or program. To me, it's like iTunes, but better.

Songza is pretty awesome, it gives you a mood setting or an activity choice and gives you music channels for what you're doing

Both. When I want to listen to a particular song or artist, Spotify's the way to go. When I want random songs from a particular genre that I forgot existed, Pandora it is.
