I felt so bad for their waitresses. Like, seriously.

And that owner apparently isn't aware taking tips from a waiter/waitress is against the law. >_> And he admitted to doing it on national television.

I adore Gordon Ramsay and all of his shows. I've pretty much seen them all.

This episode was wild. I honestly believe that she needs mental and emotional help

Why does the US feel the need to put ridiculously dramatic background music and cymbal clashes in this show.

Gordon Ramsey is a lot better in his British shows without it.

Wow...this episode...I really hope the restaurant got closed down. Poor waitresses too, having to deal with that psycho and getting their tips stolen by the incompetent boss.

Ha! Sounds like fun, I'll have to watch it when I wake up.

I watched a couple of random episodes of Kitchen Nightmares a few months ago and I thought the one with the burger father who took $25,000 from his son without asking for permission was just insane. And also, the blonde with Cafe Hon - complete nut.

There's just so much drama it's irresistible.

I love Kitchen Nightmares. I've been more judgmental of a restaurant based on its service and quality here, ever since Chef Ramsey started critiquing places in America. I just pray that the place he critiques is not a place I love or have eaten at, eek!

That episode of Kitchen Nightmares was insane. I mean, if you can get Chef Ramsey to walk out on you, then you really have no hope at all....

did they really think that anyone would buy that "we were hacked" story when there's hundreds of reviews/customer stories that basically say the same thing that everyone saw on national television?

Read about this quite a bit. They've now hired a crisis PR firm and are having a "grand re-opening", with a press conference and an announcement that they're giving profits to a charity "founded to help online bullying." They're also making veiled statements in the press release about "unreasonable and outrageous conduct by a TV personality"

Clearly, they still don't get it in the slightest. I agree with Foxface that the woman is in need of serious mental health help. The husband is almost as bad, but I can't figure out why he stays with her... she's nothing but a bitch, and I suspect she's also a golddigger who only married him because he could shower her with money and give her the cash to open her restaurant.

She's also a convicted felon; did 2+ years in the pokey for using a fake SSN to obtain a $15K loan.

He is it's a lot less in your face, which I like. It's like the people need to tell you in an extreme way that you need to react here here and here.

i read 14 months in jail, even then she's still a nut.

all the facebook comments are gone but those were riddles with curses as well.

also take note that the guy said he is a gangster, and that the charity is anonymous.

thought that could still work since i doubt any charity would want to associate itself with this lot.

Because our producers are stupid. I apologise. It supposedly is for highlighting tension and drama, but it just makes the show less enjoyable.

I thought so as well hahaha...but his personality needs a bit of tweaking, nonetheless.

I like Kitchen Nightmares, but the British version is much better. The US version is edited to the point where it's just an hour of people crying now.
