Out of all the Star Trek movies that have been released, I really liked them all, but I think I like the latest ones more than any other. I like where JJ Abrams is taking the franchise with the alternate timeline. What are your favourites?

Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home (I haven't seen the new one yet)
I am a sucker for Time Travel though & this is why this one appeals to me

Besides the new ones, the one that will always have a special place in my heart is Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home, it's only because my dad loved this movie and I watched it several times with him. I last saw it about ten years ago, but I believe it had something to do with saving whales that were extinct in the future (their present) and had to go back to the past (our present) to bring back viable samples to save their planet from some doom, if I recall correctly. Anyways, I was never into Star Trek or Star Wars but have watched the latest ones by JJ Abrams and they're good; I think Chris Pine and Zachary Quinto make the new movies enjoyable in more ways than one .

Who the hell voted V? V could have been a good movie, but just failed miserably.

I'd have to vote for VI. I've also enjoyed cold war movies, and VI is pretty much the wall coming down, but in space.

I don't know if I would lump the new JJ Abrams movies in with the old ones. While his movies are very good, they are also very different. They are more of an action sci-fi movies, with a lot less social commentary than Star Trek typically has.

This is a tough question, I love the TNG movies and the 2009 reboot. I guess I'll go with Nemesis, I just really enjoyed the storyline.

I haven't seen the new film, but I did really like Abrams' first one. However, I had to vote for First Contact. Between the Borg and the introduction of the Enterprise E (probably my favorite ever Star Trek ship), it takes the cake for me.

I assume the vote for Star Trek V is ironic.

Abrams is doing a kick ass job with Star Trek. Loved the first one and just saw Into Darkness two days ago.

Into Darkness is definitely my favorite. That is, until the next one comes out. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:
