If you're at all interested in rap I suggest immortal technique. Regardless of whether you agree with his politics, he is one of the best rappers out there.

If you like screamo, I suggest Of Mice and Men's "Ohioisonfire" and "Product of a Murderer" and yeah, pretty much that whole album. (And is you don't like screamo, I still suggest Of Mice and Men only for the one non-screamo song on the album called "When You Can't Sleep At Night," it's a beautiful melodic tune.

My personal #1 fav screamo band is Arms Like Yours...I mean, the most beautiful voices and arrangements I've ever heard. You have to check out their album "My Silhouette." Powerful stuff, man, powerful stuff.

I've always recently got into this band called Underoath and their song "Content with Losing" is a gem. I'd also check out the Memphis Mayhem's "Losing Sight" and "Deuces Las Cruces."

Oh and songs from the Punk Goes Pop albums. All the songs are good, but the screamo ones are the best. "Last Friday Night," "Blame It," "Some Nights," "Run This Town," "Payphone," and "Mercy," I just play on a loop some days. Great stuff.
