Favorite sports to watch and or play

The only time I watch Soccer is to check out the Guys :roflmao:

I must admit though, if a good boxer comes along, like Amir Khan, then I will watch it :badgrin:

 

I enjoy watching mens tennis unless it's those Williams sisters--they have a mean serve and grunt. I wanted to get into tennis too as my dad used to be very good at it, but after my accident I had to give that dream up.

 

I don't particularly enjoy watching football, rugby, snooker or darts. Sports like motor racing, tennis, basketball, hockey and gymnastics I don't really mind. But it's the extreme ones like quad bike racing, skateboarding and freestyle cycling that I like to watch the most.

As for playing, it's hockey, basketball and athletics (sprinting distances).

I'm on my high school swim team. It's quite competitive, so I have to take it seriously and practice 4-5 times a week. I am most likely going to swim at a small college, so I'm looking forward to that. Also, I love playing tennis and basketball! My favorite sport to watch is probably football, because people down in the south are crazy about it.

 

I particularly don't watch any sport, but I do keep track of how Chelsea's doing via my friends... The only time I watch sports is during the Olympic Games. I watched EVERY GAME on that!!

Playing? Basketball, volleyball, badminton. Not expert in any but I would say badminton is the most frequent one and the best of all my sports. Used to join swimming classes when I was 13 but I kinda forgot how to swim now >< so sad now my tummy is flat again and I no longer can train the stamina

 

I love to watch college football, baseball is a very close 2nd, then almost any motor sports.

Tennis and basketball are my favorite to play. I don't enjoy watching sports much, but basketball is probably the most enjoyable for me.

Alpine Skiing, being one myself I freaking love watching it.
Track and Field.
Hockey.
Downhill biking.


For taking part in:
Alpine Skiing, of course.
Track and field, especially long jump, short distance hurdle, hammer and discus.
Soccer.
Downhill biking.
Basketball.
Skateboarding.

 

For watching and taking part in, fencing. Any of the weapons (although foil is the best). This is actually sabre you see here:

I also like watching track and field. They have truly attractive people in those events. ^^

 

I don't really watch any sports, well perhaps men's swimming (Tom Daley). I do love snooker, but prefer to go out and play it for real.

 

Hockey and Curling are the only sports I really watch on TV unless the Olympics are on or something. I might watch Soccer once in a while during the World Cup but I'm not really a big fan of it.

As for playing sports, Hockey and 5-pin bowling are the only ones I play. Cycling in the summer but it is really more of a recreational thing than a competative thing. I curled for a couple of years when I was younger and I wasn't any good at it and thus I found it a little but frustrating at times. I think if I was to play it again now, I would stick to it and practice more. I really enjoy watching curling on TV though. Some people find it extremely boring but I enjoy the strategy, precision and finesse of the game.
