I mentioned the movie in another thread, which made me decide to post this here. Who all has seen it, and what did you think of it?

For me, usually when there is this much hype about a movie, when I finally watch it I am disappointed. Not with Juno! It was hilarious and heart-warming at the same time. Kudos to all of the people involved in its making. :eusa_clap If you haven't seen it, go rent it. Today!!!

    "Bren. You's a dick. I love it!"
    "Thundercats are GOOOO!!!"
"That ain't no etch-a-sketch. This is one doodle that can't be undid, homeskillet."

I just finished watching it, I liked it a lot because I can relate, quite a few of my friends are/were pregnant.

I just saw it that weekend, and it was brilliant ! I also expected another boring teen-targeted B-movie but I was surprised in the positive way

I love Juno! I've seen it twice now (once at the theater and once a couple days ago at home) and I could easily watch it a third time... and I'm one of those people who generally only likes watching a movie once.

Loved it. I saw it the first week it came out, so I didn't hear any hype about it. Absolutely wonderful soundtrack, too (Kimya Dawson and Belle & Sebastian? Hell yeah!)

Did anyone else think that the previews played up Michael Cera's part way too much, though?

I liked it because it seemed a lot more REAL then most teen movies do nowadays, some of it was a little bit...hoo haa, not really likely to happen, but overall I rreally liked it!

It was a lot better than I expected it to be. Plus it reminded me somewhat of a friend I have who has a baby. Lol.

Yeah Juno caught me by surprise, I had heard a lot about it but I still had no idea how the movie was going to face the situation. And it was really good, and of course I loved Juno's character, which brought the best kind of funny.

Which reminds me of another thing. I actually had some good laughs at some of Juno's comments, which were hillarious. And the best part of that, was that it was unexpected. I definetly didn't watch it expecting to laugh like that, and while I had in mind some funny situations, I hadn't even thought of the kind of humour that she used. So that was a positive suprise which definetly added to me liking it.

On a final note I also acknowledge it had its heart-warming moments, a couple of lessons everybody can relate to, and a whole package that makes it a quite memorable movie.
So there, my cheap movie review :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Then go rent it, like, yesterday-ish!!! Ha ha!

I've heard that the actress who played Juno, Ellen Page, is a lesbian. I did a search on it but found mixed results. Does anyone else know anything about it?

Also, she and the girl who played her best friend are currently working on a movie about 2 lesbians. Awesome!!!
