Anyone into True blood? Everyone keeps telling me it's great? Don't know if I should start watching it.
I LOVE it!!! I even have a set of costum fangs I the style of true blood! Watching live from the set, and going to watch th premier of season 6!!
I think it's a lot of fun. I particularly <3 LaFayette and Pam, I think I'd watch the show just for those two.
I've liked what I've seen so far. If you're into vampires, witches, fairies, etc and darker television dramas, you might enjoy it. Genre-wise, it's not too different from the Blade movies. If, for no other reason: http://twilog.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/2rducyp.jpg1.gif No shortage of gay characters.
After last night's episode, Robert Kazinsky somehow turns me hot (especially when he switches accents) lolz
I watch it but i didn't really like season 5, hope the sixth will be better. I want to see more of Pam and Tara, they're funny
It's a good show, just not consistently good. Sometimes it has episodes that don't really go anywhere. And certain seasons don't seem to fit with the overall story. I like that the humans are fighting back in this current arc, but I don't really like the Warlow story. Seems a bit tagged on.
The first few seasons are really good, you should definitely give those a try to see if you like it. It's started to go downhill a little bit IMO, but not enough that it couldn't still potentially make a comeback. I still love it anyway!
I watched the first season, but then I started to lose interest. It just didn't feel like there was an actual direction for the story. It seems as if the writers were just winging it. I could start back up..................but it would have to be worth it for going on six seasons.
This is pretty much spot on. It was really great the first two full seasons, then season three was pretty good, and it has become somewhat stale the last two. Still it's a fairly decent show. Oh, and of course the MAIN reason to watch is for Ryan Kwanten a.k.a. Jason Stackhouse. =3
It's amazing. It's definitely "dark" but I love it. I typically cannot stand dark/creepy/scary but the characters get me through. There's always comic relief (Pam is the best, hands down, ever.) Also, may I point out - if you don't like it, don't ruin the fun for we Truebies. I will agree that yes, it's not the same that it was in the beginning, but I think it had to do something. The first few seasons were cut and dry. There was a villain and it revolved around that. The last few seasons have been a bit more open ended...and I think maybe that's why people have been upset. It still remains an amazing show, as I said, because of the characters and interactions. Without them, it just wouldn't work.
I thought last night's episode was pretty good. Spoiler Found the death kind of sad, with him just beginning to be happy, but perhaps death is preferable to living a lie? I kind of love this show. Despite the fact I'd admit the plot does seem to be going a bit downhill compared to the first few, it's still pretty entertaining.
Yeah, this is how I feel, too. I still keep tabs on the stories' progression, but I don't watch the episodes all the way through or every week this season. I just fast forward, so I know what's going on. Haven't given up on it, though.
