    Who here likes zombie movies and/or video games? I really liked Zombieland and Shawn of the Dead. I loved Warm Bodies, too! My husband is playing The Last of Us, and it's pretty fucking awesome. There's also an anime called High School of the Dead that's really good.

    What about you guys?

    Oh! I forgot Resident Evil! I've seen all of them, even the completely non-canon anime one. Or I think it was anime, anyway. It was CGI, but I'm pretty sure it was made in Japan. Love all those! I actually saw Retribution at the theater. That whole series just blows my mind!

    I think zombies are freakin sweet! However, I haven't met zombie media that got my rapt attention quite like the most recent Dawn of the Dead. The X360 game Dead Rising and a few of the Resident Evil and Call of Duty games came close, but I didn't literally dream about killing zombies after playing those.

    What I'd ask for is an open-world, zombie apocalypse RPG. Think Fallout 3, but narrower in the scope of its monsters and more about strategic and tactical planning than pure force of leveling. Ermahgerd that game would be so cool.

    I'm SO SICKKK of zombies! I live in Atlanta, Georgia (where ' Walking Dead' is shot and takes place) so everyone new I meet asks "do you like Walking Dead?" haha

    Been a big fan/supporter of zombie related media for many, many years. It's nice to see they've finally become a bit more liked, but I do feel The Walking Dead is bringing about an overkill of it. I'll take it, though, because the fad won't last very long, and then zombie related things will become few and far between, as it was. =(

    Hopefully something that doesn't suck. :dry:

    I'm not into vampire movies. There are some that I liked, like the Blade trilogy (albeit a bit overkill at times) and Daybreakers, but maybe someone will do the vampire thing even better later on, i.e. not Twilight. Watched about five minutes of the first one, and that was enough to make me not want to watch the rest of them. I'm hoping for some really cool supernatural-themed sci-fi movies in the future.

    The thing is, once it dies down, I'm still going to be a fan of the stuff. I really don't care much for whatever takes the place in the sci-fi spotlight.
    The other two main staples are vampires and werewolves, but even the stuff that has been put out as of late, no matter which one, usually ends up including the other. They're played out, too.
    So, yeah, bring on whatever, really. If I get into it, I do, and if I don't, then I don't. ^^

    The zombie fad's already on the way out, but you'd be hard pressed to find somebody who hasn't given any thought to what they'd do if they saw zombie hordes on the news.

    EDIT: And justjade, I actually had a fairly complete plan for making that game hehe. The only thing that's missing is an interesting plot to set in that sort of world.

    I love it all! Then again I'm a horror movie and video game buff. The Resident Evil movies honestly make me mad because they are sooooo bad. The games are incredible, but the movies suck. :lol:

    She is attractive, but as far as acting she's.. alright. She did a great job in The Fourth Kind honestly. She plays a good crazy person. :lol:
