Has anyone else here got the Wii Fit yet? Markie got it last week (the day it came out) and we think it's great. It's a fun and structured way to get some exercise and lose a bit of weight. I have used it every day apart from Saturday (when I was away) and have lost 3 pounds so far.

I am gradually getting better at the step games, consistently beat Markie on the jogging and am useless with the hoola-hoop! I haven't tried the games in the other sections yet.

I think Markie paid about £70 (less staff discount) at Woolworths for ours. Obviously you need a Wii console too.

Wow thats quite a lot for a video game! I can't wait to play it... So how much movement do you actually do?

I think I'll probably eventually get this but I don't have the time to 'play' it right now and it seems a bit pointless paying £70 for something I won't use. I'll probably wait until exams and stuff are out of the way, maybe sales will have calmed down by then and it'll be easier to get hold of. Am I right in assuming places are selling out of this?

Yeah, but as your post suggests, by the time your interested in getting one, they'll be common place, and maybe gone down in price :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Not really interested. Too much money for a game and a balance board that will probably never be used anywhere else, and the concept isn't interesting at all - I'm already underweight and in decent shape. Plus, "non-games" don't have much appeal to me. Brain Age and Nintendogs only lasted so long...
