I went to a concert with my friend today and he noticed a rainbow flag in front of the church and started talking about gay rights. He asked if I'm gay and I couldn't lie to him so I said yes. He didn't really seem to care much and said he's straight :icon_sad:. He just said "Ok" and continued the conversation like nothing happened. I was hoping for a little more than that... :tears:
I'm in the same situation as well. What do I do after I told him that I like him and he says he has a girlfriend!!!??? I don't want to ruin our friendship, and I want to tell him that I'm sorry for liking him; I don't know how to let him know that our friendship can still be the same even though we don't have the same feelings for one another. :bang:
Oh well on the positive side he didn't freak out or go all weird, if anything this was one of the best possible 'realistic' outcomes. Though I secretly wish when I come out to my crush he and I have a romantic makeout session... but hey the chances of that are like 0.000000001% so I'll be happy if he respond like your friend
I guess I should just be happy that he's so accepting and that it won't affect our friendship. That's probably the best reaction possible from a straight friend.
