My boyfriend just found out that he had an older brother... His sister just told him but wouldn't tell him what happened to him and now I don't know how to comfort him... I don't know what to say... He's really upset and I've tried to offer support but it just feels like everything I say right now means nothing. What do I do? I hate when he's upset...
Give him some time and space while making it clear you are there to offer any comfort or support he may need. If you can do things to make his life easier (chores, bills, rescheduling events, whatever) try to do that for a bit. Mainly, be there for him when he needs you (because at some point he will). Todd
Thanks for your answer! He knows I'm here, he's going through a lot right now and his sister is quite mean to him... Treats him like a child, disapproves of our relationship etc. She's mentally fucked him on more than one occasion so I'm not too sure if she's lying to fuck with him or she's telling the truth... I told him to confirm it with his parents before letting her get to him.
