Unfortunately, I would say rarely, if ever. As people have said before, the chances they are gay are very slim and then they would also have to fall into the same timeline of accepting their sexuality as you. A lot of people deny it for a long time and you don't want to wait around for someone. you also have to factor in the long term compatibility of two people. I don't mean to burst your bubble but I just can't imagine something like that ever working out. A lot of people here (my self included) wish it was that easy but I don't think it is for anyone.
