You don't mention who this person is to you (your son, a friend, a colleague?) In any event, you can't really tell whether or not someone is gay by if you found gay porn on their laptop. He might just be curious, or he might be experimenting, or he might just like gay porn. A lot of straight guys do, or so I've been told. I don't think that you should confront him about this in any event, people come out on their own terms and with their own timing. Outing someone prior to them being ready can be extremely emotionally harmful to that person.
porn means nothing. Though i dont know any straight guys who would watch gay porn and leave it sitting in their history. Apparently the worst thing a straight guy can be called is gay, so proceed with caution.
Depends on his age. If a teenager, there's often experimenting, especially with porn. I wouldn't bring it up directly. He will feel trapped and like his privacy is violated. You could vocally support gay rights or something that will encourage him to tell you this. That is, if your intent is to be helpful and not just nosy.
