So my two roommates and I dressed up for Halloween. One of my roommates went as a character from Star Wars, and I went out as an 80s rock star, complete with big hair and tight zebra pants. The one roommate who I am absolutely head over heels in love with went out as a cat, complete with the fur, tail, and ears. We went our separate ways halfway through the night....they went to one party, I went to another. When I came back and got back into my bedtime clothes, my roommate who I am head-over-heels for came in, completely soaked (it was raining and he had been sweating). When he took the fur off, the sight was spectacular. Here was the man I am madly in love with...sweat dripping off of him here and there. He had taken the fur off, but left the ears on....it was so adorable....I just wanted to grab him and hold him....but I couldn't....you see...he's completely straight. But he's cool with my being gay. He knows that I have feelings for him.... I've been doing fine with trying to get over him, but tonight, seeing him in his manly, sweaty, glory, with the purple cat ears, was just overwhelming.......
I don't want to love him...that's the problem. He's my best friend, and I'm his best friend. I don't want to ruin it.
