So I was texting my friend and she asked me if I was going to homecoming and I said yes. She goes to a different school but said she might go since it's our last year. She then said "if I go your my date" now I've liked her a lot for a while and I'm really unsure what she meant by it. But we are best friends so she could have just been joking. She knows I'm gay and is completely supportive of it. So.. What do I do, if anything? Should I ask her to go with me as a date or just leave it?
