I have thanksgiving and Christmas break coming up and even though my sister knows that I am Demi, I do not want to tell my family. It is not that I do not think that they won't be supportive, I just do not want to tell them.

    Is that a bad thing?

Do I have to tell my Dad that I am Demi?

I know he will be supportive, considering he does not care that my sister is gay. He cares more that people in my family are not supportive. Since He is the patriarch of both my immediate and extended family, what he says goes, and if people are not supportive of my sister he tells them where to go. I just do not want to tell him, at least yet anyways.
