I recently told my friends i was a lesbian.. And he just had the nerve to text me saying "youre probably not a lesbian. You probably just hate your parents."
Ask him in person and see how he actually says it. Text messages are notorious for leaving out important emotional details that completely change the meaning of a sentence.
Yeah, that is good advice. Because personally, I know some people who'd say that and be joking. Depends on their sense of humor. With text, its nearly impossible for me to tell is something is meant to be serious or sarcastic. I'd think you'd have to make sure on that one. Then again, you know whether your friend would be the type of person to say something like that jokingly, wouldn't you?
That's horrible of your friend to say. However, he could be joking like the above posters said. Has your friend ever said anything like this before?
I know he isnt joking because i text him back saying "sorry, but are you being serious?" and he said he was. And he isnt a jokey person
I'll admit, that comment was rather thoughtless. But, people make mindless comments. They're simply a friend, I would spend more time focusing on the things they bring to our lives rather than what they take away.
Well that is horrible I hope he says sorry to you because you told him something that you trusted him with and he says that just mean
