Hi. These may seem naive questions, but I'm very new to all of this.
This question is open to anybody but esp. My Fellow Pansexuals.

(How new am I? I've recognized my sexuality since I was 17 but
My mother's response to me when I tried to bring it up totally repressed
Me. I'm 37. Been on 8 dates in my life (straight ones). And I didn't
Discover the term pansexual until last week because I was afraid
    To look LBGT info up....

That's my background. I'm very shy, under the best of circumstance
    When it comes to dating.

I'm probably asking for way too much advice up front, and I know it.

    My QUESTIONS run along
The lines of.... "Is there a way to tell in someone is open to
A relationship with a bi or pan? How do you ask?"

I'm scared I'll meet someone I like- male, female, transgendered etc
Want to get to know them & they'll say... Sorry, not my thing"

I know Im bound to face these issues sooner or later. I just want
SOME clue as to what to do.

    Thanks for listening...

    Loriam

Just be open about who you are, but try not to make it seem to serious or make to much of a big deal about it. This will insure that boy or girl don't make such a massive deal out of it. Also, say who you are with confidence, the old cliche is true, if they don't like who you are, then you are to good for them. Obviously you are going to fall for people who seem otherwise off limits to you, I know I certainly have, but it really doesn't pose such a massive confidence knock as you would imagine.

Remember, be proud of who you are
Say who you are with confidence
Don't take what people say personally, they probably just don't understand it
 Hope this helped  xxxxx

Well... I've never come out to a partner as pan, because I've never had one, but all I can say is do not hide it. You'll get into a terrible position, where your partner turns out to be homo/bi phobic, and you're afraid to tell them.
