This happens a lot. It's one of the hardest things about being bi. I've been out since I was thirteen and I lost count of how many people said I had to choose and/or that bisexuality wasn't real. It does get easier. I'm now with someone who accepts me 100% for who I am. You will find that person, I promise.

Well, he's right about it not being a choice. You're bi and that's that.

Well the only one who can say for sure what your sexuality is is you. No one can change that. If you feel attracted to both men and women sexually then you're bisexual. It is as simple as that.

I'm sorry about that. All you can really do is try your best to explain it to him. That does seem very narrow-minded on his part, though.

Well my biggest fear was that he was going to tell my mom. But know that my mom knows I may not stay with him long. My mom the reason I was staying with him. But I not sure how my school will react. I go to a private Christian school which could kick me out.so not sure about be public about it.

Oh no! I'm so sorry. I thought things had gotten better since I was your age, but apparently not. Is there an LGBT group in your town? Any adults you can talk to? Any friends that are LGBT?
