So just making this out of boredom and interest in what you guys think to be totally honest! So I'm currently in a relationship with a boy at school and we went clubbing as a couple for the first time and had lots of people (school mates and randoms) give us alcohol fuel hugs saying they respected us for acting as a couple so confidently. There was absolutely no hate and I was really happy. So what do you guys want from relationships? Is it: 1) someone to be happy and have a fun time with 2) someone to develop a caring/supportive relationship with 3) someone to share experiences with (travelling etc) 4) someone to have sexual relations with (physical+emotional) 5) someone who makes you a better person for whatever reason 6) someone to trust with everything even if they could hurt you 7) all of the above 8) another reason Alternatively, what's your ideal partner? Just a bit of fun, I realise there is a lot of support here so also thought it could be fun to look at relationships in a more positive, potentially fantastical, light!
All of the above + 8) Oh, this one is sorta tough to explain and even to me it sounds like I'm asking too much, but I need to feel that I'm growing in a relationship. I dated a guy who was perfect in every way but after a while I felt as though he'd hit an invisible ceiling, and I wanted more. I need those kind of talks/adventures that make me feel wiser as one of the characters in those video games that upgrade themselves after completing a certain quest. I need to feel feel I'm evolving in ways I never thought I could or even should and for him to understand that.
