So I have a crush on someone; he and I have drinks pretty regularly in a larger group of three or four gay guys. I'm nervous about asking him out. I've never asked a guy out before - the thing is, because we're the same gender and we hang out in a large group, I kind of feel it's so easy to just be friends - even though I'm really attracted to him, my 'straight' years have inculcated the belief that guys interact 'homosocially' and not romantically. Like drinking buddies. I think time will cure this - I hope! What do you guys think?
