Someone i used to call my best friend hurt me so bad emotionally that i just shut him away and i cried for days at what he said but i am talking to him now and he seems genuinely sorry and heartbroken~ I really dont know if he is doing it to desperately try to be friends with me for whatever reason or if he is genuinely sorry~ Should i give him another chance? though i doubt we will ever be close again ._.
well it depends on what he specifically said. However, unless it was really bad, everyone makes mistakes and I think you should give him another shot
I think you should give him another chance, and hopefully with time he'll prove that he's still a great friend for you. It may be hard, depending on what all was said, to get over it easily, but if your friendship was strong before, it can get back there again in time.
He said: "if i knew someone who turned out to be transgender i would cut all contact with them... To be fair transgenders deserve a special place in hell" He says that he didnt mean it and was impulse because the people we were with may of taken the **** for defending trans* people but im not sure if i believe him~
Forgiveness is one of the most glorious (and difficult) things somebody can do. That doesn't mean it shouldn't be tempered with caution. My advice, allow him into your life, but keep your heart shielded. If he meant what he said it should become obvious quickly.
