I came out to my best friend about a week ago, and it went great (Apart from the fact that I started crying my eyes out) but ever since, I feel like she completely ignores it and tries to make me look straight. She promised she wouldn't tell anyone until I was ready to be out to everyone, but she seems to be taking the 'no one will know from me' thing. It's like she's trying to pair me up with one of our guy friends, telling us how cute we are together, even though I told her I wasn't into guys! What should I do? I feel awkward just laughing and rolling my eyes, because he's a good friend and it's making me uncomfortable.
You should explain this to her. Tell her it's making you feel uncomfortable and that she doesn't have to go SO far with the "pretending you're straight" thing. Talking about it to her and explaining is really the only way to sort this out. And it won't be such a big deal.
