I have a friend who has a eating disorder. We never talk in person about it, but sometimes online. I'm sure never really sure what to say as useful support/advice...
And times stuff she says could be interpreted as suicidial. I've gotten involved before, but hate (I know this is selfish) the limbo of jumping the gun vs being too late and sorry.

Just general advice I guess I'm asking for.

I feel the best thing is to reiterate your support. Just show that your there for them. Unfortunately there is not a lot you can do. I know what a wonderful person I'm sure that willl help him a lot to have a fabulous friend :-D
