Go into the middle of your nearest city and look around you at all those people. Imagine every single one of them decided to talk to you about their hobbies, sex life and ideas about relationships, you know, the things people reveal on dating and meet-up sites. How many people do you think you would meet in a given day that seem 'normal', or more accurately, LIKE YOU. I'm guessing the number would be pretty damned small. If you want to meet people you need to give it time and seek out the normal ones. If you really have ended up somewhere where everyone is weird, go somewhere else and try it again.
