I have a massive crush my best friend. Please send help.

I really don't know what too do.
I've been at my school for a while now and have always had the same pair of friends. And I just have been madly crushing on one of them for a while now. Everything about him. The way he talks, the way he sits, the way he wears his hair.. It's so damn cute. I just can't stand not telling him anymore. He knows I like boys and might have figured out that I like him too. Advice?

The same thing is happening with me right now and the first I'd say you should do is get hints about his orientation. You can ask him if he fancies someone right now, try to find more about his dating history (without being creepy) and just get hints like that. If you get a good feeling, just ask him.

 

I am too dealing with the same situation!

What I try to do is to get closer to him in school. Talk to him more (I have trouble doing so due to my social awkwardness), charm him. What I do is wait for him to leave the cafeteria to go put his trombone away, and I walk with him as I put my trombone away too. This does not exactly involve much communication with the two of us, but we are still friends.

One more thing: is he of a sexuality other than straight?

 

Get closer to him as a friend. Ask him to hang out outside of school. Try and find out if he might be gay/bi.

He seems pretty straight and all eg. Talks about girls and such.
Although he doesn't seem to mind us play fighting.
