Or are there ANY good stories from people whose parents were anti gay until they came out?

    DON'T TELL ME.

There is this kid in the anonymous section entitled 'I need help' or something to that effect who is self harming and who's parents are hyper Christian anti-gay. If anyone has a good experience with their parents, or a good way to approach parents about therapy, get the hell over there puh-leeeeze.

Well, my father finally did. He took his time about 6 years but once he met my wife, he saw ho happy she made me and well she treated me and my children and he is now pretty much 'ok' with gay people. he will probably never be accepting 100%, but he loves me so he is at least not nasty about it.
