Hey, So basically I'll start off with some small details about me, I'm 14 and in the closet apart from the odd couple people knowing, and at the beginning of this year i began to crush on a boy that (At the time) was in a lot of my classes, time went on and I honestly thought I'd never get anywhere with him but I was wrong, within a few months we became amazing friends, and we've practically never left each other's company for the past couple months, anyway, time passed and I kind of fell in love with him, I can honestly say I've never felt more connected to someone in my entire life, he's the only person I've ever thought of as the other half of me, a soul mate if you will. So since we've been becoming so close and spending so much time with each other, I decided to finally tell him that I was gay, obviously I was expecting him to say some back like "Oh that's cool I'm gay/bi/pan too" but evenn though he was incredibly acceptive there was no mention of his sexuality which really shocked me. So after the shock of coming out had wore of for both of us, we have a 3 hour long Skype conversation, he began by asking me small details about my sexuality and then moved on to the sexual side of it, and then he proceeded to tell me that he'd always wanted to try out doing anal stuff, to himself (Not to offend any straight people out there that are into anal stuff, just I find it uncommon in straight people I've met) and then he told me he wanted to tell me something that he'd never told anyone before, that he watched gay porn, and obviously he started off with little detail, so I asked him some questions like do you :***: over the porn etc. all of which he answered yes to, and then he told me that even though he liked gay porn, he was convinced he's straight, and that he doesn't actually imagine himself doing the stuff in the gay porn, but he can lets say finish himself off over watching man x man, He's convinced he's straight but I don't know, I'm really confused and I was wondering if anyone could help me and give me some advice, I want to help him as much as possible but I really no nothing about this, personally I'm presuming he's either pansexual or bisexual and to ashamed to admit it, or he's questioning it.
Well, the two possibilities is that he's straight or that he's gay and trying to convince himself otherwise, but either way the best thing is to back off a bit and let him work it out.
