I have become much more friendly with my crush. The more I get to know her the more I admire her. I think that she thinks that a girl like me could never like her. She is friendly with me, but I can see that she is not picking up on my flirting. Lately I have had a lot of confidence, and I hate "playing games", so I'm thinking of flat out telling her that I like her and that its fine if she doesn't like me back. I'm not "good friends" with her yet, but I keep forcing myself to go by her, so hopefully she doesn't think that I'm creepy. I just like her so flipping much. Ahhh. I've never felt this strongly about someone ever before.

She's gay, right? Or, not straight, anyway? Single? If so, I don't see why you can't just ask her out. Or just a casual, "Would you like to go to the chocolate festival on Saturday with me?"

She's gay.. But recently at a party while super drunk she did make out with a guy. My biggest issue is that I'm socially awkward. This year my awkwardness has been reduced dramatically and I have become more popular, but my fear of rejection is overwhelming.

I think just follow your heart. You don't want to have regrets and look back wondering what if, so I think just go for it.. It doesn't have to be a formal thing, just like Really mentioned, ask causally if she wants to go somewhere with you or have coffee or something.

Yes, it's best to find some neutral area where you can talk in private. It will greatly help your anxiety if you can talk face-to-face and learn that whatever outcome, good or bad, will make you more confident in the future.
