Hey... um, it's kinda awkward to have to recurr to this, but I didn't think of anything better. :eusa_doh:
I'm sort of crushing on someone, but I'm a really really shy person and I'm hopeless, not to mention terrible, at flirting. So, anyone has any tips? :help:

Please keep in mind that I've never spoken to this person before, I only recently discussed it with a mutual friend and I'm really bad at social interaction. So yeah...
    Thanks xx

Ok so try just giving them nice compliments about their hair, clothing, handwriting, talent, other random thing, etc. and that will help them know that you are interested in them. And I think shy people are very sweet, don't feel bad  Also try to say hi and connect with them more in school or after at an activity or something. Who is this special someone?

Complimmenting implies engaging in a conversation, and I'm very bad at it...

Oh, it's just a guy I've had my eyes on. He's a senior...
Normally, I wouldn't even bother with someone at my school, because all ladies that are into ladies are taken and the guys are idiots (pardon my french).
But this one seems nice :rolle:

    Start by being his friend...

Also, not wanting to talk, would be somewhat problematic. Best advice i can give you is to simply not think about what his reaction might be.

I mean, what's the worse that could happen? Him not talking to you, isn't this exactly the place you are right now? It can only get better from here on.

You will need to approach him. Try doing it in a place where there aren't many people, so you feel less anxious. Act like how you would try to get to know someone as a friend. Then, roll with it.

I would... but I only ever see him on school grounds with his usual group of friends. I never really caught him alone. :icon_redf
