Just recently discovered my own sexuality and need help understanding

I have just recently decided I'm bisexual and it is ruining my life I am extremely attracted to this guy but I know he is straight and it is crushing me what should I do?

 

I am new to the site and do not know how to edit posts but I need to edit it so thought I would just rewrite it. The guy I like also knows and says he accepts me for who I am but is straight but has made comments before about if he was gay he would go for me and that is why I decided to bring it up to him. I have not told my family and don't know if I should or not can someone please help?
