So I was on Facebook the other day and I got a friend request from some guy that goes to my School (I know this isn't some stalker, seen this guy in the halls a few times) I think it was more or less just "Well some of my friends are friends with this guy so why not." However I usually check out peoples profiles when I get new friend so I did and upon doing so I found out this person is gay. I've struggling on whether I should make friends with this guy for several reason. 1. I don't have very many LGBT friends and it might be nice to talk to someone like me. 2. He is kinda...yea and I've never really had a crush type thing, I usually wait till I know the person before I realize that I have a crush. Finally I need more friends XD. Should I maybe say hi to him? I get kinda nervous around new people so that's why I'm kinda avoiding it so far and I'm not really comfortable with just anyone knowing I'm gay so if I did talk to him I wouldn't let him know until we were more of friends. What should I do?
