    Here is the conversation: basically he is gay and I'm his friend. We're both guys.
    I told a group of friends through a group chat merry Christmas but he did not get it. Here is the conversation:
    Him:merry Xmas. I did not receive your textin the group message. Mine sent as iMessage.
    Me: it's ok lol
    Him: lol? I wasn't apologizing:wink:
    Me:bout to say..
    Him:it's weird though, I've never had issues with your text messages lol.
    Me: idk it sucks
    Him: yeah hehe


    He also sends me <3 in conversations sometimes lol. Do you think he may be trying to flirt with me?

    yes and no depends on how close you guys. If you're the only he does this too then maybe he's interested in you

    Eh, it really could go either way. I flirt with my friends when I text them. There's really not enough info here to know if there's anything more there.

    It doesn't seem like he's flirting with you; he could just be in a good mood (it is currently Christmas).
    I think it would be best to just assume that he isn't flirting unless he specifically asks you out or something. Otherwise you'll likely just build up false hope and ultimately be disappointed.
