My sister just had a baby- which makes me an auntie now! :eusa_danc I'm totally excited & so, so happy for her & her husband! But I gotta admit, I'm also a little bit jealous.

I guess it's mostly frustrating because if I just weren't gay, I would also be married & baby-having by now. (I came out by/while leaving my ex-fiance.)

How do you tame the jealousy monster when it rears its ugly head in your life?

Well, I remind myself that comparisons are never a good way to live life. Everyone has different journeys, burdens, desires, histories (etc.) so it's unfair to expect the same result for everyone. Instead of focussing on comparing my life to other people's, I focus on whether my life matches what it is I want to achieve.
