So, this guy has kinda been asking to hang out for a while now and today I did it. We wondered round town, bought a few things, had lunch and nice convo. Now I'm wondering if it was actually more than hanging out. He showed interest in a casual way to which I said I'm only really interested in relationships, and then said I was planning to stay single a while to sort though messy feelings from my ex. He has previously said he isn't sure if he's ready for a relationship nor does he know what he wants from one. So basically, am I now overthinking? Was this just hanging out as friends? I honestly can't decide if I do or don't want it to be just hanging out.
In my opinion, a date's only really a date if both people are aware that's what it is. Unless you have talked about it being a date (which can still happen..) it's not a date, just hanging out.
