I can't thank this friend enough because now I can't stop thinking about this guy...

I posted the other day that my best friend nearly unintentionally outed me after a conversation about a bisexual guy possibly having a crush on me. I can't thank her enough (sarcasm) because now I can't stop wondering if she is right. Because of her I've developed a crush on him and it is driving me crazy. I've dealt with crushes before but moved on with my life because they were impossible. This person, however, might be different. I would be delighted to ask him out except that I've never asked anybody out nor have I came out. It makes me angry. I wish that she had never brought it up so that I would never have considered. Will somebody please give me advice on this? :bang:
