Is anyone out to their parents' church friends about their sexuality or gender identity?

Did they judge your parents? Do your parents still have the same friends they did before you came out to the church?

This is one thing that terrifies me. I'm scared that if I ever come out, people will not want to be associated with my parents. Am I just overreacting?

I grew up Mormon. Years ago my parents had a big party for their golden wedding anniversary and my partner and I attended. Most of their congregation and all the people they volunteer with at the Salt Lake Temple were there. We mingled freely and my parents introduced my partner around and kind of bragged on our relationship a bit (we had just bought our home). People were lovely--no issues for us or my parents.
