So there's this girl that I liked for a long time, but I can never seem to tell her up front with confidence that I like her, and that I wanted to go out sometime.

I suppose there's a fear of rejection, but is there any other reason why I always feel this way? Many times I'll tell myself that today will be the day that I tell her how I feel, yet when I'm with her I never have the confidence to do it.

I can text her instead, but that's like taking the easy way out. I don't want the easy way out. So is it confidence issues? Or is there something I'm missing? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

It was always fear of rejection for me.

Practice what you want to say to her, pick an upcoming function, and ask her to it.

Sometimes you just have to go for it.
