Okay, so I'm in a tricky situation and I'm not sure what to do. It all happened pretty quickly. So, I go to school, and part time I work at this clothing store near campus. It's a very youthful scene, so we go through managers really quickly. The other day, the newest manager showed up, and I was instantly attracted to him. I'm not even sure why, other than the fact he's really attractive, but I know it's more than just that. I honestly don't know if it would be considered a big deal if we did have a relationship, or if it wouldn't. I mean the environment seems so casual, but he is technically my boss, so I don't know. He's very outgoing, like he immediately came up to me and introduced himself, and he made direct eye contact with me. He also seems amused by my personality. What I mean is, I'm not always the smoothest, or the most graceful. So he really seems to enjoy that about me for some reason. I'm just not sure if he sees me as anything other than someone who works there. So can you help me figure out if there's any potential at all? How can I flirt, or show him that I'm interested? I feel like if I don't find out, it'll drive me nuts. So any advice would be appreciated!! P.S. I am aware that this probably isn't the smartest idea, but I have to know.
Have you considering asking him for lunch, dinner, or a drink, "just as friends"? You may even invite someone else at first, and see how he acts. If he doesn't accept it, no big deal, it "was just a friendly invitation".
