Hey there, I need to some help with how to get my parents to understand that I'm transgender.
I recently came out of the closet about being a trans male, and my parents refuse to call me by my desired name, Hunter, or use male pronouns. I came out to them via note, and I doubt they read the whole thing, and instead just stopped when it said transgender.
Do you have any advice on how to get them to at least acknowledge that I'm transgender? Thanks!

Hi there Hunter! First, make sure you're physically safe. Second, try to find a good time to sit your parents down and talk to them about it. It may take some time for them to adjust to using the correct name and pronouns, and just let it sink in. Give them some time and space to let it sink in, best of luck xx.
