    Hello,
I know I haven't posted in awhile, but now I do need help. Me and my best (male) friend have known each other about 5 years. I have since developed a crush on him. He is straight and I am pan. I have no idea if he will accept that. Should I be blunt with him or wait a few more weeks? Thank you!:help:

If he is straight, he may have little understanding on what is pansexuality, so you have to be prepared to explain it to him. Try not to say you have a crush on him at the same time so he doesn't get overwhelmed. That said, it's always good if you can come out to someone. There are always some instances of negative reactions, but I've found that most non-straight people often choose friends who are naturally more accepting of diversity. Good luck!
