Any advice for dating a girl who is Transgender?

    Okay, so I know that dating a girl who is Trans probably isn't too different from dating a girl who is Cis. That said, I just wanted to ask all of you if there are any specific things I need to know about dating a girl who is Trans.

    Also if you have any dating advice in general, that would be great too!

    It's not going to be too different other than

    1) Respect pronouns

    2) Don't assume how sex will go or how she'll like to have it. Communicate about her need first and remember to set your own boundaries as well!

    Congrats on the girlfriend by the way. I'm saying this as a trans guy with a cis guy. Fallingdown covered most of the bases. But basically, it's like any relationship. It depends on respect and making sure you two are on the same page. Talk things out, ask questions if you're not sure about things, and above all just be your awesome selves.

    Yeah, agree with Fallingdown. My girlfriend and I talked about the sex thing, what she is and isn't comfortable with. Other than that, it hasn't been much different to dating a cis girl.
