So I am a young bisexual teen who has only recently accepted her sexuality and I was wondering if anyone had any advice on how to meet other girls like me who like girls (more specifically to find a girlfriend as I have never been in a same-sex relationship and would really like one- keep in mind that I have never been in an opposite sex relationship either!). Also, how do I find girls within school especially since there are pretty much no open lesbian/bi girls within school and those who are are already in relationships or I have no chance with them and also, I am not open at school but once the new school year starts, I will come out to everyone. Online dating for me is out of the question as I feel very uncomfortable with that and I can't shake off the fear that I could be talking to some perverted 40 year old man living in his parents basement! I am actually going to summer camp in a few weeks and do you think it would be a good idea to come out there because there is bound to be other bi/gay girls there but at the same time, it might not be? I just need some advice, thanks

It's gonna be difficult to find any bi or lesbian girls at your age. Looking for a relationship doesn't work a lot of the time - relationships can't be forced into being a reality.
Your best options: an LGBT group where you can meet others, maybe school. Socialise loads with lots of people and they'll introduce you to the queer people they know.

BUT the bottom line is that you're 14 – some people would argue you shouldn't even be contemplating a relationship (I'm not arguing that - my brother's 14 and I'm pretty sure he's on the verge of having a girlfriend) – and as you are looking for queer girls, your potential relationship group is not big.
If you do want a relationship, meet people, make friends and see who they know.

I think that Connorcode has offered you some good advice. You're still quite young when it comes to being in a relationship, though I know you probably feel like everyone has somebody apart from you! I recommend you take a look at this really helpful thread, it has some excellent tips on how to find people - and also to make sure you're doing it for the right reasons. It's a good read, when you get a few moments.
