So, my parents divorced when I was 11, and for about a year after I spent most of my time with my Grandma to avoid my mom, and saw my dad when I could. I fell in love with my Grandma's house(my Grandma, Uncle and Dog are there) and usually stay there when my siblings are with my mom(I have chosen not to see her, but that's something else entirely) or when my dad is working. On many occasions, I ask my dad if I can spend just a night or two at my Grandma's and he always asks why I like it there so much and I can't properly explain it, how would I explain this?

It seems like you gave a good enough explanation (falling in love with the house and who is living there).
