Today I talked with my dad about being transgender. He said he would love me unconditionally, even though he doesn't agree with me. He also said I could talk to him about anything. It could be a lot worse than this. I still wish I could present as female while at home, but I never really expected that to happen. So, what now? On the one hand, I want to change his mind. On the other, I'm afraid that putting too much pressure on my parents could backfire. My dad asked if I could send him some links to pro-trans stuff, so I'll do that. I just don't want this to cause any more tension in the family than what's necessary.
