That's good. Somebody is looking out for you. You should take all the help that is being offered.

Nobody is going to jail. The most that will happen is somebody might check that you're safe and maybe suggest counselling for you and your parents.
If the violence continues, that's another matter but for now, you might get someone sympathetic to talk to.

Well. He needs to stop or be stopped. None of this is your fault!
Do you have somewhere else you can stay? If you can get yourself safe and he can't hurt you again, that's a start. As long as he isn't hurting your brothers/sisters/mother, he may get away with just being warned if he stops. His hurting you is completely unacceptable.
Maybe look up a help-line and give them a call to find out what kind of steps are taken in situations such as yours. It will be anonymous, don't worry.

My dad generally hits me when I do something bad, he's angry,or he's drunk and I don't have any brothers or sisters and if I did call he would probably even if he didn't think it was me he would still probably beat me up for it

Well Dylanzsad, you need to get out of that situation one way or another. Find somewhere safe to go or let a teacher or nurse or child services help you. He can't be allowed to hit you again. Even if you do something bad, he should talk to you, not hit you. Drunk or not.

    Number 1. Get safe.

Once you're safe, use the help around you to work this out.

(I'm not ignoring you now, I'm going out.)

Yes, please do this. By far the most important thing is to get you to a safe place and prevent your father from hurting you again.
