So, there's this club at my school, essentially a GSA, but called LGBT Club because…I dunno. And I'm thinking about joining it, buuuut… My parents. I know how my mom'd react to me joining something with LGBT in the name, and I don't want to have to come out yet. Buuuuut… This is basically a guaranteed support network for when I do come out. So yeah, I'm conflicted. Help?
My parents never knew I was in my school's GSA club. lol. They're not that involved, just as long as I do my work and they don't hear anything from the school. How would your parents find out? Do they go to those parent/teacher night or open house?
It meets before school, so I'd have to get there earlier, and my mom would want to know… Glaargh why does everything have to be so bloody confusing!?
